How Vivace works?
The powerhouse combination of radiofrequency energy technology and microneedling delivers truly remarkable results. This two-in-one procedure means that patients receive the benefits of radiofrequency energy (contouring, skin firming, new collagen production) and microneedling (improved appearance of skin issues such as acne and sun damage)
The Vivace device features gold-plated steel micro-pins that are able to penetrate deeper into the skin for even better results than traditional microneedling. These longer needles allow the RF energy to be administered at different depths, depending on your specific needs.
The RF energy heats up the underlying tissue to kick-start collagen production. We perform Vivace RF microneedling treatments in the comfort of our aesthetic center using local anesthesia only.
Depending on your specific aesthetic goals, 1-3 treatments (spaced one month apart) may be needed. During your consultation, we will explain how many sessions you will need.
Downtime and Recovery process
Vivace is non-surgical procedure with minimal to no downtime. Most patients even go right back to work after their session. Some patients see pinpoint bleeding directly after treatment, but this should stop shortly – typically after about one hour. Your skin may also appear and feel like you’ve been sunburned for a day or so. We instruct patients to avoid direct sunlight exposure during this recovery time.
